The Gig is a web series created by Carson-Newman students from the communication department's Digital Storytelling class. The web series highlights and showcases the hidden singer/songwriter talents of C-N students.

Each episode of the series offers a brief interview and performance from the songwriter. The entire web series was designed, filmed, directed, and produced by Carson-Newman students.

The Gig Series will launch on the Carson-Newman University Youtube Channel on Monday, April 21 at 12 pm and will air at the same time each day through April 25.

The series will close with a live show (CLW) on Monday, April 28 at 8 pm in Gentry Auditorium.
